In other news..
My 4 year old has announced he would like to get married.
With due consideration for his ageing parents and his (mis)trust in our choice, he has chosen the girl first and then announced the news.
The lucky(!!!) girl is a friends daughter, who the 4 year old has met once- for a whole of 3 hours( during our housewarming in bangalore). She is about the same age, and equally naughty and fiesty. These two were a riot together.
He wants us to keep the girls dad informed.
Considering that the bigger decisions in life have been made, half my job here is done folks.
Now i can concentrate on making sure he gets three letter words and numbers 1-100 right this year.
PS: For mortal fear , the girl's father has not been informed. He and TB go a looong way back- Chaddi days. And their closets are full of skeletons...tee hee..

Hi!Havent found the time to update my blog....delivered on May 11, scheduled csec, had a baby girl, am super thrilled, going to name her Anjana, to rhyme with Meghana, had a bit of a bad time after the csec, scared the family:), but all is well now.
Really touched that you cared to remember and ask:)
Will get around to updating my blog at some point...waiting for the 28th day fotos, to have a decent foto.lol at your son's decision:)damn cute
Now that's a young man who knows what he wants out of life! Lol. This is such an adorable story.
man at four i dont think i knew boys from girls.
i have a young nephew who had a girlfriend - viz, he got terribly annoyed if some other boy sat nextto her in the auto to playschool. and has been known to come back after beating up bigger fellers. they start very young eh?
Too cute! Well, as you rightly gather, this just saves you so much heartburn and antiacid meds:-)
And do we get invited to the wedding? :-)
Niv: Glad to know you're well and a mom twice over. Anjana is a very nice name. Waiting for the photos.
Era: He seems to have the same sense about priorities as his parents- mind over matter!!!
Cyn: A colleague's two and half year old son declared himself fit to marry Hannah Montana after admiring himself in new outfit. You think V is kinda late?
Nitya: If we get told when and where the wedding is, you get invited- for sure.
MGM: I'm telling you...my mom is going to be mighty thrilled with his choice. Mallu, Menon, younger than him..etc.
I'm contented with the fact that he chose a 'girl'.
lol!
First time on your blog. :)
LOL!! SO cute! Our neighbour in singapore has two daughters and one of them told my mom one fine day that she would like to marry my brother. My brother and the girl were about 7-8 years old then. We all had such a good laugh! :D
Ummm...you'll have to teach your daughter-in-law words n numbers too! She's gonna live with you'll, right...don't separate the newly-weds, okay?!!!
Oh, and good luck when her dad finds out ;)
MinM: LOL indeed
Medha: They start quite early these days, eh?
Starry: Now that you mentioned it...i think we'll do the long term engagement plan. I may not be able to handle two 4 year olds.
